Meet our founder, Rick
An ASE Certified Repair Technician, ASE Certified Parts Specialist, and Master Mechanic dedicated to dismantling the information gap between dealership service counters and the drivers they serve. Combining decades of hands-on diagnostic experience and hard-earned trade intuition with uncompromising consumer advocacy, this mission is simple: protect everyday vehicle owners from padded estimates and predatory upsells, while equipping driveway DIYers with the exact factory schematics, torque specs, and diagnostic blueprints needed to tackle any repair with total confidence.

Rooted in the high desert trades
Rick’s mechanical foundation began decades before he turned wrenches professionally. Growing up across the High Desert, moving between Apple Valley, Victorville and spending his weekends and summers in Hinkley, he learned electrical principles directly from his grandfather. As a World War II Navy veteran and retired head electrician supervisor for the Santa Fe Railway, his grandfather showed him the value of relentless blue-collar work ethic, sharp diagnostic intuition, and uncompromising integrity on every job.

Why Everyday Auto Solutions was born
The idea behind Everyday Auto Solutions took shape out of sheer frustration with modern repair culture. Rick watched family and friends fall victim to inflated dealer estimates, unnecessary upsells, and misleading tactics. Drivers weren't falling short on funds; they were being cornered by a lack of insider knowledge. Everyday Auto Solutions bridges that gap, offering virtual estimate audits, dispute resolution, and step-by-step diagnostic blueprints directly to car owners.

Diagnosing machines and human perspective
Beyond the garage, Rick is a devoted writer exploring human psychology, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness through his digital publication, Perceptive Perspectives. While wrenching and writing might look like opposites, Rick sees them as the exact same discipline: cutting through confusion, finding root causes, and guiding people toward clarity and confidence, whether under a car hood or within a high-stakes repair dispute.
"Whether auditing a suspicious dealership invoice to save a client thousands or drafting a diagnostic blueprint for a driveway mechanic, my mission is simple: eliminate the guesswork and put dealership-level expertise right in your corner."
